Disability Inclusion and Sensitivity Workshop – RCD hosts this unique training to raise accessibility awareness among businesses, companies and community agencies on how to better accommodate and serve their employees, customers and clients with disabilities. Training focuses on practical information regarding disability awareness, understanding barriers and individualized needs, disability etiquettes and techniques for providing effective assistance, and more. Training was delivered to 818 individuals, that included schools, volunteers, Board members, new staff and corporations. Looking ahead, RCD will be updating the training and will offer one- and two-hour sessions as well as a half-day workshop for a fee.
